Our Goal
C.E.S.B.A is committed to the promotion of camaraderie, goodwill and friendship among Emergency Services Workers through the sport of boxing.
Who We Are
C.E.S.B.A. is grass roots organization committed to working with all front line personnel in the Emergency Services Profession, their Associations, supporters and sanctioned Boxing Associations to raise funds for selected charities through boxing related events.
C.E.S.B.A. will be promoting boxing events throughout Canada and the world where the participants are Emergency Services Workers. Proceeds from these events cover show expenses and a donation to a select charity.
To set up these charity based boxing matches, C.E.S.B.A. has developed a data base of Emergency Service Workers who are interested in participating in amateur boxing matches throughout Canada and internationally. C.E.S.B.A. is seeking female and male emergency service workers, of all levels of boxing experience, to join our association both as boxers and supporters.
Whether it’s your 1st or 50th boxing match, or if you are interested in boxing for fitness or just want to meet other front line Emergency Workers from Canada and the world who support Boxing, C.E.S.B.A. is in your corner.
The next scheduled event is the "Punch Up at Parliament" to be held during the National Police and Peace Officer Memorial weekend in Ottawa on Saturday, September 27th, 2008. This event will showcase Police and Peace Officers from across Canada stepping into the ring to face each other in an effort to raise money for the families of slain officers. To participate or support this boxing show, please refer to upcoming events for further information.
CESBA is dedicated to supporting front line Emergency Service Workers and the sport of boxing. It does not involve or partake in any matters related to policy, law, discipline, union or association business.
